Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Tamena public website (tamena.app) handles personal data. You can read everything on the site without an account. The patient portal (app.tamena.app) and the mobile app handle the health data you record yourself; that is explained when you create an account.

What the public website collects

You do not need to sign in to browse the site. It stores your language choice on your device only (in browser storage) and does not send it to us. Our servers record general technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to run and protect the site and limit misuse.

Demo tools

Tools such as the pain index, the daily check-in, the joint map and the medicine tracker on this site run only in your browser as demonstrations. Nothing you enter in them is saved or sent.

The Contact form

When you send a message we receive: your name (optional), email, type of inquiry, subject, message and language. We use them only to reply and to improve our service, and only authorised support staff can see them. Please do not send medical details through the form.

Cookies and analytics

The site currently uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tools that track you. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Why we process data

We process form data on the basis of the consent you give when sending it, and technical data to run and protect the site. We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law and Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that host and run the site under contracts requiring them to protect it, or when the law requires us to.

How long we keep data

We keep form messages for as long as needed to handle and follow up your inquiry, then delete or anonymise them unless the law requires otherwise. Technical logs are kept for a limited time for security.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised staff who sign in with two-factor verification can see form messages, and every change they make is recorded in an audit log.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or object to its processing. Send your request from the Contact page and choose "Privacy request", or email support@tamena.app.

Transfers outside your country

Service providers may store or process data outside your country. When that happens we put in place the safeguards that applicable law requires.

Children

The site is for a general audience. The contact form is not intended for people under 18 unless a parent or guardian is involved.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will publish any change on this page with its date.
